Will Radler

Will Radler has had a lifelong passion for roses. His interest in roses at a young age eventually led him on the path of creating new roses resistant to black spot. In 1992, Star® Roses and Plants received a seedling from him that changed the rose market and landscape for decades to come. This seedling eventually became the Knock Out® rose. Many say that Will single-handedly brought rose genetics from the 20th-century into the 21st-century with this breakthrough introduction. Since that introduction in 2000, Will has continued to pursue breeding roses and has successfully created not only additional Knock Out® Roses but also many other award-winning varieties. Will’s roses are recognized around the world and many have won prestigious awards for their top performance. He leads his own company, Rose Innovations, LLC, where he continues to breed exceptional roses that are sent to Star® Roses and Plants annually for further trial and evaluation.
